Lemon Water

Beautiful skin starts from the inside. Having a healthy diet and lifestyle will improve your skin’s overall appearance {not to mention the amazing anti-aging benefits!}. I’ve always felt that if I start my day off right, I’m more likely to continue the trend and make healthier choices through the day. The easiest thing you can do to get a healthy start to your day is to drink a cup of warm|hot water with fresh lemon in the morning. Here’s why: – Detoxifying: Lemon water helps to purge toxins from the blood which can help to keep the skin clear. Lemons and limes are also high in minerals and vitamins that help loosen toxins in the digestive tract {aiding in digestion!}. Get all those toxins out first thing in the morning so you can start with a clean slate. – Aromatherapy: Lemon has a refreshing, uplifting scent. It can be an immediate boost ~ even if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. – Vitamin C: Lemons are rich in Vitamin C. I’ve always drank lemon water when feeling a cold coming along to boost my immune system. It’s great for keeping the body functioning at its peak on the inside and out. Bonus: Vitamin C diminishes imperfections {wrinkles, blemishes, uneven skin tone…} and prevents them from returning!
